It has added a multi-country set-up that includes deposit services in Euros for the Netherlands and Germany. Vilja, a Nordics-based banking solution, already provides a sterling-based deposit service to Hoist Finance in the UK. In November, Hoist added deposit services in Poland. It has now extended that with a deposit solution for the Dutch market.

Hoist Finance is an asset manager specialising in non-performing loans (NPLs) with operations in nine European countries. It purchases portfolios and then sets up sustainable repayment plans. Vilja helps it achieve this by supporting local currency deposits.

Harry Vranjes, CEO of Hoist Finance, commented, “The launch of our retail deposit offering in the Netherlands is one more step on our journey towards becoming the leading asset manager of non-performing loans in Europe. It is also an important step in the development of the HoistSpar product, and I’m proud that we can offer savings accounts at attractive conditions to retail customers in the Netherlands, starting today.”

Vilja Supports Hoist Finance Expansion

Max Ehrengren, Head of Treasury at Hoist Finance, commented, “Offering saving accounts in the Netherlands is yet another step to diversify our financing structure and expand our European deposit base. Vilja Platform supports us to leverage a seamless and automated solution and thereby achieving improved scalability and operational efficiency.”
