Amperity

Amperity announced a new composable approach for customer data management: the Lakehouse CDP. It will allow brands to seamlessly share live data sets between a CDP and a lakehouse without maintaining ETLs or copying data. IT teams can optimize how data is stored and processed with any platform that uses Lakehouses’ open table formats to save time and lower costs.

Deltek

Deltek TIPQA, has been recognized with the FAA’s prestigious Safety Element Approval. Only six companies have received approval, and Deltek TIPQA is the first QMS solution to do so. Receiving an FAA Safety Element Approval affirms that TIPQA software can manage documents effectively and ensure compliant, precise and comprehensive record-keeping for the entire operational lifecycle of licensed sites and vehicle operations. It satisfies the record-keeping portions of 14 CFR §§ 420.61, 450.219(b), and 450.173(g), which pertain to incident and mishap reporting and retention of records.

First Abu Dhabi Bank selects Infosys to help with transformation

Infosys announced a multi-year strategic collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). This is the largest bank in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), to optimize and modernize FAB’s IT infrastructure services. The bank will leverage Infosys Cobalt, a set of services, solutions, and platforms for enterprises to accelerate their cloud journey to deliver industry-leading, infrastructure-managed services, including service desk capabilities, to transform FAB’s IT infrastructure.

Suite Connect Mexico announcements

At SuiteConnect Mexico, NetSuite announced a series of updates, including AI-powered analytics, new enterprise performance management (EPM) capabilities, updates for manufacturers, and new localization capabilities for Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.

NetSuite Analytics Warehouse is now available in Mexico. Enabling customers to simplify data management, reduce time spent building reports, and gain insights to drive growth.

NetSuite Enterprise Performance Management is available in Mexico. The solution will help Mexican businesses increase productivity, profitability and efficiency by increasing business visibility, expanding insights, enhancing decision-making, and driving growth.

NetSuite SuiteSuccess for Manufacturers is now available for Mexican customers. The global ERP company also announced improved localisation for Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia.

Deportivo Toluca FC embraces NetSuite

Ten-time winners of La Liga Mexico, Deportivo Toluca Futbol Club, is leveraging Netsuite to automate financial processes, increase efficiency, and improve decision-making as it scales its operations on and off the field.

OctaiPipe

OctaiPipe has been selected to participate in the first UK-GermanyTech Accelerator programme in Stuttgart. The accelerator, initiated by the British government and supported by the Baden-Württemberg government, will be running from September 2024 to January 2025. It will be hosted at CODE_n – a prominent innovation hub in Stuttgart. OctaiPipe will benefit from access to startup support packages and introductions to VCs and corporates, including Bosch, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and ZF Friedrichshafen.

Panasonic Connect

Panasonic Connect Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL) have been chosen as an essential element in the success of the first trial smart store built by German service station company Q1 Energie AG and German AI company Autonomo GmbH. Q1 Energie, with 230 locations across Germany, is piloting its first “Shop & Go” smart store in the city of Osnabrück. This is to help shape the future of retail in European service stations.

Jens-Michael Pohl, Head of Field Engineering, Panasonic Connect Europe, commented, “The integration is different because we are integrating with a cloud service – and not with a customer server or an on-premise system. Communication only occurs from cloud to cloud, which makes it easier to scale in the future – it also makes the hardware cheaper because the resources in the cloud are divided between several locations.”

Planful

At Perform, Planful made several announcements. It included several product announcements, including the future of Planful AI, new Planful for Workforce and Planful for Marketing capabilities, and connectors with Snowflake and Microsoft Power BI. It also demonstrated the Solution Hub. This is an all-new searchable collection of pre-built solutions, open for anyone to explore, and for customers to configure.

Rimini Street announced that Pacific Healthcare Group, the leading sales and marketing services organization for the Southeast Asian healthcare industry, has selected Rimini Support for Oracle. This includes support for Oracle EBS, Oracle Technology and Oracle Database.

SNS

SNS has announced a new partnership with nShift, a multi-carrier shipping software company. This collaboration will enable seamless integration between Infor WMS and nShift for parcel shipping solutions. The integration will allow Infor WMS users to easily configure nShift for parcel shipping without the need for complex coding changes. This means that specific shipping options can be selected for individual orders using features already present in Infor WMS.

TSIA published the Renewal Engagement Models: Workforce Optimization for Scale report (subscription required). Zoo Sign for Deceloper

Zoho has introduced Zoho Sign for Developers. It introduces APIs for Zoho Sign, enabling developers to integrate the solution into their applications. The new capabilities include:

  • The ability to create and generate legally binding envelopes using templates to streamline the process
  • Unlimited document storage using integrations with cloud service providers
  • Integrations with over 30 commonly used applications, enabling users to sign documents without leaving a webpage
  • The ability to personalise esignature processes with a company logo and customized legal disclosures

Virtual Pointer

Zoho has added a Virtual Pointer to Zoho Lens. Virtual Pointer is an annotation tool that allows a technician to direct participants’ attention in a remote assistance session to a specific area on the live stream. The key difference from other annotation tools is that it fades away automatically after a few seconds, making it easier for the technician to go on with their instructions. Each time a pointer is placed by a participant, the previous one is automatically removed, ensuring that the focus is on where the participant requires.
