sunrise Image credit pixabay/qimonoYooz has announced that it has renewed and extended its partnership with Infor. A global leader in industry-specific business cloud software. Yooz has partnered with Infor Anael for eight years, an ERP solution for the French market. Yooz operates as an embedded solution for Infor Anael to streamline its purchasing and invoice processes. It also helps with the automation of reconciliation and accounting.

It has now built an integration with Infor SunSystems Cloud. SunSystems is widely used across the UK, within EMEA as well as in APAC. According to Sun Accounts, the solution is used by more than 9,000 organisations across 190 countries. It will allow Yooz to attempt a bigger footprint in the Infor ecosystem.

Both SunSystems and Yooz are built with the finance team in mind. They provide automation for finance leaders to transform their operations. SunSystems is an important solution within the Infor portfolios. By extending its integration, Yooz will ensure a longer-lasting relationship with Infor.

Yooz enhances the automation of accounts payable and Purchase-to-pay processes. Infor SunSystems users will benefit from several features that Yooz can offer, including:

  • Intelligent data extraction from invoices, including capture of early repayment discounts
  • Online real-time supplier relationship management
  • Flexible and unlimited validation workflow
  • Mobile access to invoice approval and communication

AI and machine learning, power these features and enable organisations to create a paperless AP environment. It enables users to raise a purchase order and, when appropriate, automatically reconcile it with purchase orders.

Proven in France, can Yooz bring AP automation global

Infor Anael is primarily focused on the French market. Infor SunSystems has customers worldwide. The new integration with SunSystems is bidirectional and enables the real-time exchange of information between the two solutions.

SunSystems is a multi-country, multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-site finance solution. That was also re-architected for the Cloud and is now a multi-tenant SaaS solution. As most of Infor’s other solutions.

This combination streamlines processes, reduces manual intervention and ensures real-time data accessibility and accuracy, ultimately leading to cost and time savings. It also provides increased reliability, traceability and ease of collaboration between the different parties involved, as well as improved decision-making.

Yooz states that it is now the preferred partner for Infor on AP automation. That should help it expand further into EMEA and APAC. With a lot of existing customers on SunSystems, Yooz clearly hopes that its solution can become invaluable to finance leaders looking to transform their operations.

Laurent Charpentier, CEO of Yooz, commented, “Yooz emerges as a pivotal partner, bringing to the table a unique solution that seamlessly integrates with SunSystems’ platform, all whilst aligning with Infor’s commitment to spread excellence and innovation. Together, we are revolutionising the landscape, empowering clients with unparalleled cloud-based automation and optimisation capabilities based on the latest AI technologies. With every member of our team dedicated to the success of this robust partnership, we are committed to delivering unparalleled value to our clients and companies around the world.”

Yooz also sees SunSystems operating in industry sectors where it already has a strong presence such as hospitality, non-profit and financial services. The Yooz press release notes that there are already several joint customers. There should be more to follow once the partner networks and customers are aware.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

This is big news for Yooz. As it will see the company come to the attention of the SunSystems partner network in the UK and elsewhere. While it isn’t clear if Yooz will further develop the integrations to other CloudSuite solutions, this is a good first step. As SunSystems Cloud might be the upgrade path for Infor Anael in the future. Anael Finance iSeries V8 seems to be the last release of the solution (it was released in 2022).

While Yooz states it is a preferred partner, its solution has not yet made an appearance in the recently launched Infor Marketplace. However, the Marketplace does not appear to list any SunSystems add-ons as of writing.

For Infor, this seems slightly less important. While SunSystems is a strong product and is now available in the Cloud, that there is no comment from an Infor spokesperson would seem to indicate how strategically important SunSystems is.
